Yes, even if all it did was follow me around. Although a "killer bunny" would be nice too.

Thatll be tight to have a bunny..

Then again... make Gwen a pet.

I would get her, take her to Glint, and tell gwen to attack her...

let her die, rez her, and then do it over and over and over..

It'll make me feel quite good!

personaly, I think all monsters aside from the inteligent ones(Charr, Tengu, Stone Summit, Forgotten) ,the realy big ones(Those Ent things, Sand Wurms, Drakes) and named monsters should be charmable.

I would love to have one of those sand worms as a pet

Also it would be cool to tame a moss spider (before the searing) and watch it grow into a charr eating machine as it levels up.

EDIT: It would be cool to be able to charm a wider variety of animals.

He didn't charm it, if you do mesmer class you get a mission to kill a bull, the owner of the bull demands a devour egg for compensation to raise as a pet to guard his farm otherwise he will press charges. So Old Mac actually raised his devour from youth.

I think devours could be cool pets though, the thing is devours are a race of enemies all to themselves, with 3 different variations, so I don't think devours fit the bill. As for spiders, bunnies and other animals just walking around, I think it would be cool, but I don't think it's planned, and they don't realy make good attack pets......... I mean Bunny?, that just silly. Too bad you can't tame the mad bull he has hella armor!

Devourers have more than just three variations.

Carvion, Lasher, Fevered, Plague, Drone, etc etc. The list goes on. At least I believe those count as variations. Plague ones are nasty little buggers...

yes, all non - hostile creatures should be charmable and all hostile creatures should be charmable into non-hostile based on the level difference (a level 20 ranger should easily tame a level 10 devourer)

If Glint was, then everyone would be getting their own Glint since she can take on 8 people and still have the possiblity to win That would be nice tho to see a Dragon following you around.

Frankly, I really, really wish more of the creatures were charmable. As stands, its "challenging" to go for any differentiation in pet choice. (Myself, I settled on a Moa, simply because I quite like it.)

As I see it, pretty much any of the non-sapont creatures seem like valid targets.

Heh. The bunny could be like the one out of Monty Python. Maybe we're not allowed to charm it for our own protection .

I mean, think about it. Why is it the only one? Why does it sit on top of that hill like it's a king or something? How come the Scales don't try to eat it? It's a vicious, blood-thirsty killer, that's why -- it ate all the other bunnies and made the Scales into its slaves.

hehehe im a level 20 ranger with a bear thats easy to tame later in the game. Im aiming on getting a spider... not the moss spiders in pre searing cuz theyre not tameable but the black widdow spiders in the underworld later in the game. I hear they leap on to enemies and one in a while do some poison attack.... its not a rumor like i thought it would be, i actually grouped with someone that had a widdow spider. Now how great would it be to be a Necro/Rangr and have a widdow spider? Its like the perfect pet for Necros!

Glint wasn't really that hard. I didn't even drop below half-health while fighting her. Of course, she was really focused on the monk holding her egg.

For pets, I think R/N (N/R) with a widow spider would be awesome.

See that was my plan for my necro ranger was to get a spider. but the moss spiders arn't animals even though Shadow later in the game has one.

Thats my biggest beef. How can you show us a ranger with a pet spider and not let us charm them?
